Determination of lambda-cyhalothrin and imidacloprid resistance and synergistic activity of diatomaceous earth in Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say, 1824 (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) populations

In this study conducted in 2020, the resistance of Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say, 1824 (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) populations collected from Karapınar, Çumra, Seydişehir, Güneysınır and Doğanhisar Districts Konya Province, Turkey to lambda-cyhalothrin imidacloprid was investigated. Insecticides were applied topically fourth instar larvae. addition, synergistic efficiency diatomaceous earth (DE) investigated by applying plus DE (2% w/v) with same methodology Karapınar population. As a result research, rate all found be higher than lambda-cyhalothrin. The highest LD50 Çumra (0.212 µg/larvae) (0.456 population for respectively. synergism ratio determined as 1.93 after 48 hours application. it is considered that use will make great contribution control management resistant potato beetle.
